A regional healthcare management system is seeking an HR leader to support 2 community hospitals that were recently acquired in Westchester County. This HR leader will manage a team of 25 via 4 direct reports, supporting 3300 union and non-union employees across both facilities. A seamless integration into the parent organization’s HR processes and infrastructure will be critical in this role with an emphasis on balancing the local needs of the facilities and their respective populations. Also critical to the role would be experience with labor relations (both contract negotiations and union avoidance), employee relations, HR change management, talent & performance management, organizational design, succession planning and leadership coaching & development. We’re seeking a relationship builder with the ability to build consensus among and influence leadership towards building and nurturing a positive and engaged working environment at both facilities.
Seeking candidates with 15+ years of HR experience; ideally 5+ years leading large teams of 15 or more resources. While healthcare industry experience would be beneficial, it is not a requirement. Very interested in meeting candidates from the commercial sector as the Enterprise HR and Talent processes and structure more closely align with those of commercial organizations than those typically being deployed in the healthcare industry. This role will report to the Executive Directors at each community hospital with a dotted line reporting relational ship to a Regional VP of HR. There is an expectation that this HR leader will spend time at both facilities.
