VP, Organizational Development and HR Strategy

Description:

The VP of Organizational Development and HR Strategy will focus broadly on strengthening the alignment between business priorities and organizational strategy (structure, processes, systems, culture) with significant exposure to senior executives and HR leaders. Responsibilities include: culture transformation, organization & job design, change management, talent management, and diversity. The role involves working with stakeholders across Global Consumer Banking’s businesses and regions and partnering with corporate colleagues to provide insight into strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities Include:

-Applying Organizational Development expertise and bringing a consultative approach to developing and implementing creative solutions to meet business needs
-Acting as a change management specialist to assess, define, and drive activities to establish organizational effectiveness and sustain culture change
-Partnering closely with Senior HR Advisors and Corporate HR practice leaders to develop and execute short and long-term HR strategies
-Leading team dynamics and organization effectiveness programs and initiatives
-Diagnosing business needs and delivering appropriate solutions by providing consultation, coaching and facilitation
-Offering direction and support for OE programs and practices in partnership with HR and business leaders
-Acting as Consumer representative for global Diversity work, with the goal of strengthening our talent pool and increasing representation at senior levels
-Partnering to design and deliver high potential development programs for the Global Consumer Bank, including coaching of high potentials
-Supporting efforts to build manager capability around talent assessment and development
-Supporting the successful deployment of the Voice of the Employee Culture Survey; assisting in interpreting employee survey results and creating tools to drive positive change
-Keeping abreast of internal and external organizational effectiveness best practices

Qualifications:

-College graduate with a degree/major in human resource management, organizational development
-Masters in HR, OD, Org Psych or related discipline required

Experience:
-The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience consulting in organizational development/ organizational effectiveness, organizational design, change management, culture change, talent management, diversity, performance management, or related fields
-A successful track record in designing and implementing practical solutions to address organizational and human capital development needs
-Possess knowledge of fundamental HR and OD concepts, have experience managing complex, multi-dimensional projects, and proven success at building credibility quickly at all levels of the organization, including senior executives
-Experience in financial services as well as large, matrixed and multinational organizations is advantageous

-High level of proficiency with PowerPoint and strong familiarity with Excel is strongly preferred
