Recruiter, Temp-to-Perm

This position reports to the Vice President of HR and will focus on the recruiting activities throughout a range of professional level positions with an average workload of roughly 25 openings. Directing all aspects of the recruiting process, the Recruiter will be expected to work with a high degree of self-direction and time management acumen to leverage the most appropriate and cost-effective tools and resources. This work will be conducted both through personal execution and where appropriate, managing external recruiting partners and resources. Further, the Recruiter will assume a strategic and proactive approach towards aligning future hiring requirements with the identification of potential candidates on a pipeline and opportunistic basis. As a highly valued partner to the business areas supported, this role is responsible for providing a consultative recruiting approach to senior management, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and HR Centers of Expertise (COE) Partners.

Preferred location is Matawan, NJ or Herndon, VA.

Key Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Serve as a credible and valuable resource to managers; conduct needs analysis, define recruiting strategy and drive consistent execution.
  • Help develop a pipeline strategy with HR and key business leaders for upcoming needs
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process.
  • Effectively track, monitor and report ongoing recruiting activities through the disciplined use of the Applicant Tracking System (SuccessFactors); ensure data integrity for metrics/reporting
  • Develop partnerships with hiring managers and ensure their engagement in hiring
  • Provides weekly updates on open positions
  • Ensure quality customer service with managers and candidates
  • Provides direction, support and guidance for critical and executive level hires

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years experience in sales and/or engineering recruiting
  • Prior experience in Telecom recruiting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility to support the organization’s growth
